On June 17th, The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida and The Jessie return with a new installment of Sector Connect. Designed for nonprofit professionals, this quarterly event is your chance to venture outside of your usual workspace, trade ideas, and have a some fun with your peers.

We welcome you to the Office Olympics! Where teams and individuals will take on a series of low stakes games with just enough competition and a few prizes to keep things interesting.

On June 20th, the Jazz Discovery Series returns to The Jessie with Jazz Discovery: Legends in Context. This master class will cover the stories, struggles, and sounds of jazz greats including Duke Ellington and Miles Davis. Through mini-lectures, guided listening, and discovery stations, you will immerse yourself into the worlds of these artists and learn more about their, music, and the experiences that shaped their art.

This is a rare chance to learn more about this incredible music, gain a deeper appreciation for those who made it, and learn more about how their lives impacted the art they made!
